Because child care providers were united and fought hard, we won a strong first contract with rate increases, rate add-ons for training and quality care, and first-ever health insurance for thousands of providers.
Next year, we’ll negotiate our next contract with the state—and we’ll keep moving forward to win higher rates and funding to expand healthcare, and to be a strong voice for quality care for all Illinois children.
